In scenes reminiscent of the 2007 Saffron Revolution, thousands of Buddhistmonks again took to the streets of Burma’s two main cities, marching in solidarity,
they said, with the monks and protesters who were injured in a violent police
crackdown at the Monywa copper mine site in Sagaing Division on November 29.
