Myanmar invites third-party countries for Dawei deep-sea port project

Myanmar has invited investors from third-party countries besides Thailand for 
the Dawei deep-sea port project, Kan Zaw, minister of national planning 
and economic development, told Eleven Media Group.

Japan intercepted material suitable for uranium enrichment in August 
on a North Korean ship bound for Burma, the Japanese daily 
Asahi Shimbun reported on Saturday.

The act of Burma receiving weapons-grade material from North Korea would be 
in direct violation of a UN Security Council resolution.

PDP Leaders Detained for Defamation, Incitement

in Kachin State since late October on charges of incitement and defaming

including a Karen lawyer who had been charged for being disrespectful to the court.
