Q&A on US Sanctions on Burma

23 Nov 2012
RANGOON—The United States is unwinding two decades of sanctions against Burma,
as the country’s reformist leadership oversees rapid-fire economic and political change.

a calibrated approach to easing sanctions, keen to retain leverage should
Burma’s reform momentum stall.
