Burma signs another one-year agreement to end forced labour

(Mizzima) – Burma has signed another one-year agreement with 
the International Labour Organization to end forced labour by 2015. 
Deputy Labour Minister Myint Thein signed the memorandum of 
understanding with an ILO liaison officer on Friday in the Naypyitaw, 
the state-run New Light of Myanmar reported.

Body formed to fight against Myanmar dam

YANGON (March 17, 2012): Myanmar has signed an agreement 
with the International Labour Organization to end forced labour by 
2015, state media reported on Saturday.

Dam investment projects put peace at risk

Burma has signed an agreement with the International Labour Organization 
to end forced labour by 2015, state media reported on Saturday. Adults 
and youngsters pressed into working for the army are the most serious 
forced-labour issue in Burma, according to the International Labor Organization.
