Nasaka arrest and torture Muslim man

A Muslim man was nabbed by the notorious Nasaka (Burma’s border security force) 
over allegations he was running a human trafficking ring in Maungdaw south, 
according to one businessman who didn’t want his name used.

Kachins say air strikes are continuing

Burmese government forces on Wednesday continued their ground offensive 
against the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) near the village of Nam Sang Yawng 
in Kachin State while supported by two fighter jets and two helicopter gunships,
 said Maj. Min Htay, the information officer of the All Burma Students Democratic Front 
(ABSDF) Northern Branch.
