Arakan Public Forum Draws 3,000 Spectators

An estimated 3,000 people packed into a Buddhist monastery in Rathedaung, 

some 20 miles north of the Arakan State capital Sittwe, to listen to a two-day 

public forum focused on resolving the sectarian tensions between Arakanese 

Buddhists and Rohingya Muslims in the region, and discussing ways for the two
